I think that Clancy may be named after “Clancy of the Overflow”, a character from a poem by Banjo Paterson.
At first I thought Eva Galic was Eva Garlic!!! And Chiodo was a new one for me.
(Quite a few of these names are ones I’m getting a bit sick of, you hear them so often; hard to come up with something original that doesn’t just sound bizarre *fret*).
I’ve never heard of that poem. Thanks for sharing.
Ha! I’ve never found a baby Garlic before.
Olive, Ruby and Minnie are gorgeous together, but it’s a little odd naming the baby Minnie when one of the older sisters is Marnie. I love Beatrice Delphine, Dashiell Rex and Violet, Edward Atticus, Eloise Sarah, Geneva Elsie, Gianluca Peter, Hendrix Pippin (very cool), Indianna Violet, Ivy Lascelles, Matilda Isabelle, Millicent Elise and Neve Jemima.
just a random bit of trivia – for the new baby named “dashiell” with a sister named violet … those are the names of the kids in the movie “the incredibles” !!!
OMG you’re right! I was trying to figure out why that seemed weird to me and couldn’t understand why. They need a baby brother Jack now.
Beatrice Delphine, Edward Atticus and Rhydian Elis…. I think I’m in heaven!
Generally the names here are very similar to British trends. There are actually a ton of Brits living over there actually — my own sister included.
