There seems to be a trend particularly in the more central states of America to name children things that aren’t really names so much as a jumble of letters or unfortunate variation on an actual name. To each their own, but personally I can’t stand Arista, Ayceten, Azlynn, Brinden, Lyden, Nanzan or Thurston, and Cash on a little girl, albeit in the middle, is kind of awful. Ada Miriam, Amelina Violet, Elliot Forrest, Jet Rafael, Maeve Ryan and Silas Willard are nice though.
Yeah, I think of names like Ayceten & Azlynn as “cut and paste” names. Take a beginning sound and add popular endings like -lyn, -ton, -on, or -ley, leigh, lee, ly to a name and come up with something new.
Destry rides again!!!!
Ha!
